I’m Rolando Chang Barrero—an award-winning curator, visual artist, photographer, and lifelong traveler. For more than four decades, my career has been built at the intersection of art, culture, branding, and storytelling. As the founder of three fine art galleries, recognized for many years as one of Palm Beach County's premier contemporary art galleries, I have curated exhibitions, developed cultural programs, represented artists, and helped organizations and creative professionals build meaningful connections with their audiences.
Although I now spend much of my time exploring North America by RV and traveling internationally, I continue to work remotely as a visual artist, curator, branding consultant, and cultural advisor, collaborating with artists, galleries, nonprofit organizations, and businesses on creative projects, exhibition development, marketing, and strategic planning.
Travel has always been central to my life. During the 1990s, I worked as a United Airlines flight attendant and in-flight trainer, an experience that allowed me to explore the world while developing a deep appreciation for different cultures, hospitality, and the stories that make every destination unique.
Today, I combine decades of experience in the arts with professional travel photography, writing, and content creation. Through this website, I share destination guides, curated itineraries, travel photography, practical advice, and authentic stories from the road. Whether I'm visiting a national park, photographing a family-owned brewery, exploring a historic town, or discovering an overlooked cultural attraction, my goal is to help others experience destinations more deeply and travel more intentionally.
My work has been recognized with the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County's Muse Award for Cultural Leadership, and I have been featured in PASSPORT Magazine's "Ask A Local – The Palm Beaches," sharing insider recommendations on the arts, culture, and hidden gems of South Florida.
